Vendora: Vendor-First Marketplace Platform
A production marketplace connecting vendors and event organizers, with real Stripe Connect payouts.
Vendora is a vendor-first marketplace that I shipped to production in 5.5 weeks with a two-person team, pair-programming with Claude Code across implementation, review, and test authoring (461 commits, 165 PRs, 148 merged).
Highlights
- Real payments: a Stripe Connect pipeline built from scratch (onboarding, Checkout, webhooks, transfers, refunds) that has paid out $2,000+ to vendors across 11 transactions.
- Self-serve onboarding: a Supabase Auth application flow that onboarded 28 live vendor/organizer accounts and converted 22 applications into paid booth assignments with zero data-integrity incidents.
- Dual-mode data layer: Zustand/localStorage in the browser for demos vs. PostgreSQL in production, kept identical through a shared TypeScript type system, so demo and test infrastructure costs nothing.
- Concurrency-safe webhooks: 13+ atomic PL/pgSQL RPCs plus self-healing reconciliation and stale-transfer-recovery jobs on pg_cron.
- Security & testing: Row-Level Security on all 19 production tables across 62 migrations, validated by a 1,524-test Vitest suite run as a CI merge gate.
